Every member receives a club newsletter every 2 weeks, (currently monthly due to Covid-19) You can choose either an emailed copy or a hard copy which will be available to collect at the meetings. The newsletter is a mixture of events for the diary, reports on events attended, restoration stories, members are encouraged to submit stories and we often read of racing reports or a touring adventure. Bikes or parts both for sale and wanted are free to advertise. .
For the retired "Veteran" members, there is a sub section of the Club at which members celebrate their birthdays, enjoy good food and good company, and reminisce with their contemporaries. This takes place on the Second and Last Thursday of each month, at around midday, at a suitable hostelry, the one currently in favour being the Red Lion at Lowick.
The club owns a comprehensive collection of specialist and often expensive tools applicable to the restoration of motorcycles. These are available, on loan, to the members at no charge other than for the nominal cost of consumables. Bulk gasket material, a selection of nuts and bolts, and stainless bar stock is available for sale to members
We own a collection of over 170 books made up of workshop manuals, owners guides, spares lists and general motorcycling. Along with 50+ Videos (we are that old) and DVD’s documentary’s, entertainment, and racing all feature. These are available, on loan, to the members at no charge. .
On production of your membership card some businesses in the area offer a discount on items purchased. Also, a local storage depot of Bikes/Cars/Caravans owned by a member offers a discount to members..
Club regalia is available to purchase, mugs, badges, hats, Hi-Viz vests and items of clothing are all available featuring the club logo.
A Christmas dinner is held every year, it gives members a chance to bring their other half along for a pleasant meal and good company. Held locally it is well attended and enjoyed by all..
